The foundation for all other dance styles, Ballet teaches poise, grace and balance. Students will strengthen their core and improve their flexibility. Our ballet curriculum includes learning ballet terminology, maintaining posture, and barre skills.
Beginner Ballet (ages 3 to 5)
Ballet 1 (ages 6 and up)
A dance style derived from African Tribal Dance. This form uses the metal bottom of the shoe to make rhythmic beats as the foot strikes the floor. Students will learn quick alternating movements between the heel and toe and will be introduced to music and rhythm concepts.
This dance style includes sharp fluid movements to upbeat music. This class is an excellent experience for the student who is interested in developing a solid technical base. This class will feature a variety of jazz styles- from Broadway jazz to Lyrical jazz and will consists of body isolations, turns, leaps, and conditioning exercises to increase flexibility and strength.
An upbeat style of dance that uses fast alternating movements to popular music. Students will learn body isolation, jazz technique, street hip hop styles and dance acrobatics. Students will learn choreographed movements as well as dance improvisation.
